Church planting is hard. Really, really hard. And you know this better than anyone because you sort through all of the applications from pastors that feel like they are ready to plant. You gather references, interview spouses and put hurdles in front of them to see if they can succeed. And recently, many networks and denominations have brought licensed therapists into the process to identify any potential past or present issues.
While this is a great process, it only gets the pastor in front of a licensed professional when they are prepared for it. They are in full interview mode. Many haven't planted yet, and if they have, they are still in the honeymoon stages. Life is good.
But what happens when stress comes knocking? We have all made a bad hire. That's because some people interview really well. And when it comes to pastors, we are typically talking to strong communicators who know what we want to hear. And to top it off, we all really want them to succeed — the perfect storm to send someone who presents ready today into a battle they are not equipped to fight tomorrow.

The solution is ongoing coaching and assessment from a licensed therapist who has experience evaluating church planters and providing therapy to pastors and their spouses.
Monthly Individual Sessions
Pastors and their spouses can be challenged on any issues that were brought up during their assessment or that come up over time. (Proverbs 15:22)
Monthly Group Sessions
