Why We Exist
The Weight Nobody Talks About
Everyone celebrates the launch. The vision casting, the core team, the first Sunday — there's a community around all of it. But what happens in the months and years after? That's where most church planters find themselves carrying an invisible weight, alone.
After Launch Coaching was born out of that reality. We've seen gifted, called leaders quietly struggle with burnout, identity drift, trauma, and the psychological toll of shepherding a young church — without anyone in their corner who truly understands the terrain.
Our mission is simple: no church planter should navigate the mental and emotional demands of the post-launch season without proactive, clinically-informed support.

I'm a licensed therapist — and I've lived the ministry life. I know what it feels like to pour everything into a calling, to carry the weight of a congregation, and to wonder if anyone else understands the unique psychological and emotional pressures of this work.
After years of providing therapy to pastors who found their way into my office out of tragedy or trauma, I kept seeing the same patterns: leaders waiting until they were in crisis before seeking help. I built After Launch Coaching to change that — to bring clinically-informed mental health support & coaching to planters proactively, not reactively.
My faith is the foundation of everything I do. I believe God calls and equips planters, and that caring for their mental and emotional health is one of the most important ways we steward that calling well.
